Sunday - English Class and Shish Kabob

Marsha makes a little extra money by conducting a club English class on Wednesday. The students and parents agreed to a special lesson on Sunday to visit with an American teacher. These students are eight years old and have only had three lessons. They introduced themselves and sang an English song. They sang it very well for only having three lessons. I told them all about North Dakota and they and their parents asked questions about the USA.

Next a trip to the local park for shish kebabs. Nina, Vladmir, her sister Nadia and her husband Oleg made quite the feast. Sausages, barbecued pork, salad, decorated apples, pears cut like pine trees, cucumbers pickles YUM!
